The Sports Card Forum is a place where I trade, buy and sell my cards. A great site with equally great members.
Hobby Insider is another great forum where I wheel and deal.
Candice Monhollan is a good friend of mine and one of the biggest Flyers fans I know. We have met twice in two different cities; Boston and Toronto. She is currently working on her BA in sports journalism and currently writes for Chicks Who Give a Puck, a great blogging site which features female writers across North America. Candice also covers the Philadelphia Flyers, as well as the Adriondack Phantoms and Greenville Road Warriors. She is also an editor with The Hockey Writers and had an internship with Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia. Candice loves a grilled cheese sandwich now-and-then, courtesy of her favourite Flyer, Claude Giroux.
Lauren Freeman is a fantastic photographer from England. Lauren hopes to ply her trade in the NHL or AHL one day. A big thank you for allowing me to use one of your superb photos on this page. Please check out her Flickr (aptly named Colder Than Ice ) on http://www.flickr.com/photos/cold_as_ice/
Collectors PC's
Karine is a mod from the Sports Card Forum. Karine is Canadian and has an awesome collection of fellow Quebecois natives, Patrick Roy and Martin Brodeur. Please check it out!
Fisher12 - A nice set up website to compliment his nice Mike Fisher collection of cards and awesome game used items.
TK Mullen - An aptly named collection, 'My Possible Obsession', focuses on the PC of Penguins goaltender, Marc-Andre Fleury. This is an astonishing collection of the man between the pipes and only just over 5% away of obtaining every card made. A truly outstanding feat and I thoroughly recommend you check it out!
Enforcersonly - Richard is a British collector like myself who hails from pretty much just a few miles down the road from me. As his name suggests, he collects enforcers and has a very nice collection on the go, as well as a nicely made website to boot.
Vegaspuck has a great Mike Richards collection and also an array of game used sticks and game used jerseys.
Kenney has probably one of the most exciting PC's going. I say exciting because Doughty is going to be one of the best D-men for many, many years and with the Kings' colourful jerseys and logos the patches are insane!
Benn is another British collector who collects the Russian Rocket, Pavel Bure as well as an exciting Philadelphia Flyers base card set of every player to have played for the Orange & Black. A collection am going to try one day!
The Russian Rocket is a dedicated collector of Russian superstar, Alexander Ovechkin. Insane cards. He also has several PC's on the go which can be seen here: http://www.therussianrckt.com/index.html
Not sure who this is, but they have a superb collection of ex-Oilers' Finnish sensation, Jari Kurri.
Great1 from the Sports Card Forum has a very nice collection of one of my favourite D-men in the league, Erik Karlsson of the Ottawa Senators. Loving the game used stick!
The Lindros Collector - One of the players who originally drew me into following the Philadelphia Flyers was The E Train, Eric Lindros. A controversial debate on whether he should go into the HHOF, but there's nothing controversial about this great PC. Check it out!
Shane Doan - The longest tenured Coyote and team captain. Nice, easy site and a fantastic collection!
Laffifan - Pat LaFontaine played for one of the greatest NHL teams of all time... the 1980's New York Islanders. Look forward to seeing your cards of this wonderful player and Hall of Famer!
Bedpan - As much as I hate the 'Hawks for upsetting me in June 2010, I do admire their Captain and this is a fantastic collection!
Bruce from the SCF is a newly inducted Super Collector for his magnificent collection of Arturs Irbe. Check out the game used stick! Superb.
Bedpan - As much as I hate the 'Hawks for upsetting me in June 2010, I do admire their Captain and this is a fantastic collection!
Derek from the SCF is a Patrice Bergeron collector.
Ian from Burlington, Canada collects 1/4th of the Staal brothers, Pens' star, Jordan. He has amassed a great collection and also customs his own cards. Sweet!
I hope you don't mind me using your links to profile your PC. If you feel that I should remove it, please let me know. On the other hand, if you would like your PC displayed, again, please let me know. Thank you for allowing me to showcase your wonderful collections.
